When a viewer verifies their YouTube subscription on your ForSubs page and opts in to email updates, their email is automatically added to your Kit account with the tag "Verified YouTube Subscriber".

What data is synced to Kit?

Only the subscriber's email address and your configured tag (default: "Verified YouTube Subscriber"). We never share YouTube account details or subscription data.

Do subscribers need to opt-in?

Yes. Subscribers must explicitly provide their email address during verification. We only sync emails from subscribers who opted in.

What happens if the sync fails?

ForSubs automatically retries failed syncs up to 3 times. If all retries fail, you'll receive an email notification with details about the issue.

Can I customize the tag?

Yes! You can change the default tag in your ForSubs dashboard under Settings > Integrations.

How do I disconnect Kit?

Go to Settings > Integrations in your ForSubs dashboard and click "Disconnect" next to Kit. This removes the connection but does not delete subscribers already in Kit.

Is my Kit data secure?

Yes. We use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and store your access tokens encrypted. We only request the minimum permissions needed to add subscribers and tags.
